Rainbow Bridge Poem There is a bridge connecting heaven and earth. It is called Rainbow Bridge because of its many colours. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills, valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies , the pet goes to this special place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other. There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth. So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up ! The nose twitches ! The ears are up ! The eyes are staring And this one suddenly runs from the group ! You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her into your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated Author Unknown |

| Beau Was an amazing dog and was my best friend for 14 years before he passed away I miss him so much |
| Mira was the foal of Dixie who was pregnant and very sick when she arrived. Mira graced us for 7 days before she lost her battle. Because of her mothers condition, Mira was not strong enough to survive. |
| Takeo arrived with 1 very bad infected leg and we were told he would never walk on it. He also had a very bad case of worms. We treated the leg and gave him medication for the worms. We had Takeo for 15 days before he passed away. Before his passing, he was able to walk on all four of his legs. His case of worms was too far advanced for the treatment to help him. |

| May 28,2010 Dodger a 10 yr old Male Corgie/Sheltie mix was surrendered to us. We had no medical history on him. While here he looked and acted fine, but I suppose he must have had a pre-existing illness that suddenly and unfortunately took him from us |
