Kattie in early July. There is a huge difference from when we got her. You can see her belly now. Kattie was letting us know her thoughts on being a mama. Both of us got very little sleep for over a month with all the signs she had and her not feeling good some days then showing signs of labor others. I love my camera's and monitor.
Well everyone said she wouldn't make it. She didn't nurse was very weak and about a 10% chance to live. My Vet got her on iv's and pumped her with Liquid Gold because she wouldn't nurse and Kattie wasn't up to date on her shots. When the vet came that evening she was prepared to put her down, but to all of our surprise the little miracle girl was taking a bottle that I had milked from Kattie and was standing just fine. Although her legs were truly a nightmare, she was still alive. The vet gave her a 2 week window to get past all the things and problems she could have and if she made it that far she would have made it over the hump and would be O.K. Well, go to her web page to see my little girl now.
