Diamond update
Diamond is getting bigger and bigger. She went from 807lbs to
now 892lbs. Great disposition, we are still working on some
issues she has. Needs a lot of desensitizing and learn trust.
Diamond started having contractions July 12th, she is preparing
for the birth of her foal.. We have no clue what to expect as we
were NOT expecting her to be pregnant when we rescued her.
Lots of prayers and good thoughts her way please.. will update
daily..........
as of Thursday morning still no baby.... She is doing very well,
eating great and very active so I am not worried at this point...
Sunday July 26th.. still no baby.. lots of contractions and still
preparing. Any day now would be good. Im tired of sleeping on
the hay bales...LOL
Diamond is doing really well. She is great spirit and eating
wonderfully.
JULY 21ST-- That stinker is still holding on.. Diamond is doing
great and is just still preparing for delivery.. She is still out there
running and bucking.. owieeeeeeeee... keep her and the baby in
your prayers..
July 30th: ok guess we are going to push into August... I have
her back with the herd and she is doing very well. Each extra day
is another day for that baby to be healthier and healthier and
for Diamond to have the foal safely.
September 13th: yah yah ok no foal yet but now I am pin
pointing when she got bred and im not happy with it. We are
expecting now for her not to foal until November or December.
This is a horrible time for a mare to foal.
