We got Alexi when was 3 yrs old. The story I was told was that she was purposely
ran over by a horse trailer. Her hip, elbows and femur were broken, she was left to
die but didn't. I spent a lot of time massaging, wrapping, heating and treating her hip
and back leg and now she can run, jump, rear and buck although not pretty, it works
for her. Now 7 years old, she can never be rode or bred, but would make a great
surrogate mother as she raised Cody from 7 months on. Her quality of life is the
best it can be considering what happened to her. She is very healthy and happy.
Adoption fee: $500.00
(preferably adopted together with Cody, but if not she will need another horse to
take care of.)
